Revive Us Again

In God they trusted

Satan is trying to bring down the United States as he did Adam and Eve and has done with once mighty Great Britain as well as with all nations who let down their guard. He has taken control of our tax-funded schools of learning and is teaching our young children atheistic evolution and a distorted history of our nation. There is only one way to defeat Satan, in this area, and that is to use the same method our forefathers used to build the greatest nation this world has ever known. They began with “In God We Trust”, in principle, and free competitive enterprise. This has worked well in the past and it will work well now and in the future. (Let us build our schools around our churches and homes, as did our founding fathers.)

Socialism has never worked. It is a parasite that saps the life out of a people. (Anything the government subsidizes winds up on the ash heaps of history and public schools will be no different.) When “In God We Trust” was ordered out of the “public schools” it meant the downfall of government subsidized education.

It will take a new generation of believers to save this nation, for many of our elders have been made languid with the drug of atheistic welfare.

My prayer: Lord, “Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?”  (Psalm 85:6)

Proverbs 3:5-6 --- "5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Are you going through something that you can't figure out? Quit trying to "figure" it out and trust the Lord to reveal it to you.

When we discover a weakness in our Christian walk we should turn that area of our lives over to the complete control of the Lord. Examples: High temper, laziness, adultry, greed, cowardice, etc. Yes, I know, we should turn our whole being over to the Lord, but that can be meaningless if we don't know or won't admit what our weaknesses are. If you know that the Lord wants you to do something and you have failed so many times before in that area then admit (confess) that weakness (sin) to the Lord and  say: "Lord I can't be trusted to do that. Forgive me and take complete control of me and that situation so Your command will be obeyed!" A-men

You will soon discover that you can do nothing right without the Lord.

Habakkuk 3:2:--"O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy." We have read in God's Word about His wrath of old and also about His mercy. What He did in the past He can do today. Lord, revive Thy work so Thy wrath will be restrained. God can do anything anytime.

Hosea 10:12-14: "2Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.  13Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men."  Fallow ground is land that the farmer once worked, but now he has let it lay out and it has become nonproductive. The soil is still good, but it has grown up in weeds and bushes. A nonproductive Christian is like that fallow ground. He/she feeds on the temporal, the pleasures of this present world and cares little for eternal things. Seek the Lord in prayer asking Him to make known to you your sins so that you can repent of them, have forgiveness and be joyfully productive once again.

Rich in $$$ but lukewarm in works
Revelation 3:14-22:14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;  15I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.  20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." REPENT!

Why and when nations fall

Why nations fall: Proverbs 28:2 (NLT) When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily. But wise and knowledgeable leaders bring stability”

When nations fall: Genesis 15:16 (NLT) “ After four generations your descendants will return here to this land, for the sins of the Amorites do not yet warrant their destruction.” Nations fall when the people’s sins demand it.
