  God's Plan of Salvation

                                              Jesus Saves!

The Way To Permanent Peace

ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD.
(Romans 3:23)

Can you name some things you do that are wrong?  Sure you can.  We can all name things we have done that were wrong.  Those are sins.  They are a product of man’s sinful nature.  It is important to know that you are a sinner.  The nature that makes us prone to sin is inherited.  You see, the first man, Adam, sinned and turned away from God who had created him.  Adam’s sin plunged the whole human race into sin.

GOD HATES SIN, BUT HE LOVES YOU.

Thou [Jesus] hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows”.  But God carefully tells us about His love for us: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, [Jesus] that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH.  (Romans 6:23)

Those who choose to remain in unbelief [sin] will spend eternity suffering in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10,15).  Sin is a serious offense; but there is hope.

BECAUSE GOD LOVES YOU HE SENT JESUS, HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON TO DIE FOR YOU.

The Bible says “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ [Jesus] died for us”,
(Romans 5:8).  It seems unreasonable to think that someone would die for an enemy; but that is just what Jesus did.  He died for you and me.

GOD WILL SAVE YOU ON THE MERIT OF JESUS' SHED BLOOD.

There is one important fact to remember and that is, you cannot save yourself.  The reason is clear when you realize our efforts fall in the category of “filthy rags”.

Isaiah 64:6 tells us “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags”.  God requires righteousness from us but we are not able to produce righteousness in our unclean condition.  The answer to our problem is found only in Jesus.  Let His righteousness work for you.

JESUS TOOK UPON HIMSELF THE PENALTY FOR YOUR SINS AND MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR YOU TO CLAIM HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.  JESUS DIED FOR YOU!
(Romans 4:8,11;
II Corinthians 5:21)

Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and arose again the third day.  Since by man came death, by man [the man, Christ Jesus] came also the resurrection of the dead.  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive”, (I Corinthians 15:21-22).  All are made alive who put their faith in the resurrected Christ.

Would you receive the righteousness of Jesus as your own?  Then pray to God the Father telling Him you are sorry you have sinned.  Tell Him you accept Jesus and what he did for you.  Do this and receive salvation now.
