STARS Preschool

Marion Elementary School is honored to have been selected by the State of Montana to participate in the STARS Preschool Pilot Program.  The "NEW" modular classroom and playground in front of our building has been made possible by State Grant monies through the STARS Pilot program.  The preschool day starts at 8:20 am and ends at 2:30 pm, Mondays through Fridays.

The STARS Program services 4 year old children with the purpose of better preparing them for Kindergarten.
Site visits and monitoring will be provided by the State of Montana to ensure quality and compliance.  We are using a research based curriculum that addresses all of the necessary domains of learning.   In addition, the curriculum will align with the Montana Early Learning Standards as well as Developmentally Appropriate Practice.

Marion Elementary School is excited to pilot this program, with the intent of setting the students up for a great school experience as this is their first step in the educational process.
