In April, 1870, a third mission interest was established on the corner of Cherry and Broadway streets, and is now known as the North Baptist Mission. This interest sustains a Sunday-School of about one hundred and seventy pupils, under the charge of C. P. Jacobs, Esq., Superintendent. Preaching every Sunday, a weekly prayer meeting on Tuesday evening, and an adult Bible class. A neat chapel, thirty-two by forty-five feet, has been erected and furnished, and a church will doubtless be organized here during the coming year.
` The value of the property is about $6,000.
