Cell Phone Policy

Our school's cell phone policy is in alignment with Chancellor's Regulation A- 413.

Marine Park IS 278 Cell Phone/Electronic Device Policy

Cell phones, computing devices, portable music and other electronic devices may not be turned on or used during the school day.

Cell phones, computing devices, portable music and other electronic devices may not be turned on or used during fire drills or any other emergency preparedness exercises.

Cell phones, computing devices, portable music and other electronic devices may not be turned on or used during any school quizzes, tests or examinations.

Cell phones, computing devices, portable music and other electronic devices may not be turned on or used in locker rooms or bathrooms.

Cell phones, computing devices, portable music and other electronic devices if seen, will be confiscated. Parents and/or guardians will be notified as to the . days and times when the items will be returned. Items will only be returned to a Parent or Guardian at the specified times.

Please be aware that students can communicate with their families through the use of school phones in all administrative offices as well as the main office.
