About Marianne Green

I have been providing state-of-the-art career counseling, interview coaching, resume building, and job search advice for 20+ years at colleges and universities in the Midwest, Northwest, and East Coast. I hold master's degrees in teaching, counseling and liberal arts. My undergraduate degree is in English.

My specialty is helping students, new grads, and young professionals create effective resumes, curriculum vitae, federal resumes, international resumes and cover letters.  This is a very inspiring process because it allows people to dig deep and interpret their experiences, skills, and personal qualities in the most forceful manner possible. The best resumes and other career documents create a link between a particular job or internship and the writers' skill set.
I'm knowledgeable about the latest trends in job search documents.  I write compelling LinkedIn profiles that are necessary to compete effectively in today's job market.  I also understand the necessity of having two types of resumes for today's job search: a striking, well-formated resume and a resume that is optimized for the Applicant Tracking Systems that have become a commonplace tool for recruiters in every industry.

I am a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), a Certified Federal Career Counselor (CFCC), and have a Certificate of Achievement in Career Coaching. I have facilitated seminars on Curriculum Vitae development for graduate students seeking faculty positions. As a former English teacher and writer, I provide up-to-date cover letter advice and editing.
