Welcome! I am an Associate Professor of Applied Economics at IMT School of Advanced Studies in Lucca. Over the last 20 years, my life has been a bit of a Euro-tour: getting my research started in Italy and Denmark, exploring the economics of innovation at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland, and diving into Dutch data in the Netherlands before moving to France and later on back to Italy. Like many researchers, I have become something of an expert in house relocations, but I now feel content to stay put for a while. This journey has been enriching me with encounters with inspiring people, challenging endogeneity issues, valuable insights, and delightful explorations of local cuisines. I am passionate about applied economics, with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. Dive into my work and explore the insights I have gathered so far. Thank you for stopping by!
