Unlike the stuff here that was made by burning, this baby'll burn your ears. Haha. Which is actually quite similar to the problem I was having when I drew that new picture there. Anyhow, due to grocery avoidance and lifepacking, the sideprojects (even the 2 planned other sets) have been put on hold until after the great roadtrip and relocation.
Cakey stuff turned out pretty okay. Actually: no. So the first iteration arrived to Boston detached from all their limbs so a second set had to be made. But the second set turned out pretty okay. Cake: topped. Wedding party: happy enough.
I quipped "My mother always said 'knife-skills before social-skills", but that is false. My parents did their best to raise well rounded and mentally grounded kids. None of us have any idea exactly what happened when we were unleashed unto the world. I am pretty okay with a knife though.

There is a lot of stylistic cribbing that goes on in my head. It's my understanding that that's okayish.
