My name is Marco Pinchetti and I am a PhD candidate in Economics at ECARES (European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics), based at Université Libre de Bruxelles, Solvay School of Economics and Management. I hold a MSc in Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a MRes in Quantitative Economics from Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). I am a Teaching Assistant at ULB for the undergraduate courses in Open Economy Macroeconomics, Statistics and Probability, and Probability Theory.

My research interests lie in the fields of monetary and international economics. I am currently conducting research on endogenous TFP and heterogeneous agent modelsthe TFP slowdown, the productivity vs. inequality nexus, and the forward guidance puzzle in open economy.

My advisors are Robert Kollmann and Rafael Wouters.
