Fundraiser

The band boosters is sponsoring the upcoming T.J. McKinney Rodeo on April 24 & 25 and we need your help. The band students and boosters are pre-selling tickets for $10.00  or it will be $12.00 at the gate. The Band Boosters will be getting a portion of all sales. Please help support our students by purchasing a ticket.

We are having a band booster meeting on Tuesday April 15, 2014 at 6:00 pm in the band room. Please try to attend. 

Mandatory Meeting

There will be a mandatory meeting on Monday March 10, in the band room at 6:00 for everyone attending the Disney Trip.

Disney Meeting

There is will be a meeting Tuesday, February 11th in the BCHS Library at 6:00 about some Disney information. Mrs. Hetzel, BCHS Special Education teacher and Cast director, has graciously volunteered to give a presentation and answer questions about the parks that we will be going to while in Orlando. I know there are parents who would like to make certain reservations and plans for the days that we are in Orlando.

The band boosters are going to be sponsoring the J.T. McKinney Memorial Rodeo in April and we have some things to discuss so we are having a meeting on Thursday February 13 in the band room at 6:00. Hope you can attend. 

BCHS vs Oak Grove Itinerary

4:47        Inspection
5:10        Load buses
5:15        Depart for Oak Grove High School
6:20       Arrive at Oak Grove High School
                   We will unload and prepare to march into the stadium
                    Students may use the restroom once we are seated in the stadium
7:00       Kick off
9:30       Depart for BCHS
10:30     Arrive at BCHS band room
                   Please arrive a little earlier in case we return before the scheduled time. 
               All band members must have transportation at the school when we return.

Notes:
  • Students should bring their own snacks and drinks for the bus ride. 
  • Students should not bring an excessive amount of money or any items of value
  • Band members will only be allowed to eat and drink concessions in the stands during the allotted time after halftime. Water will be provided to the students during the game. 
  • Students must travel to the game with the band. Students wanting to return with a parent/guardian must submit a "Travel Release Form" to Mr. Caddell by 8th period on Friday. 
  • Students not returning with the band should make arrangements with someone to return their uniform to the band room that night.

Just want to remind everyone that we are having a booster meeting on Tuesday August 20 in the band room at 6:00 PM. We are going to need to prepare for our first upcoming football game hope you can make it.

Cleanup day

We will be having a cleanup day for the concession stands on August 10,2013 at 8:00 am. Please come out and help us get ready for the upcoming football season!
