With the full bloom of motorcycle business in South Cotabato particularly in koronadal City, there was anticipation that more and more motorcycle businesses will sprout like mushroom in few years time. With this, motorcycles are expected to flood the main streets of the city thus greatly affecting the flow of traffic that might force the authorities to limit or worse not allow motorcycles to rule the city streets as what is already happening in big cities. An alternative business was conceived to be ready for the demand to come. Sir Jojo studied and learned the systems in body building, painting and reconditioning of chop-chop cabs in Cebu City with the assistance of his brother in law.

That time, financing business was against the principle of some Board of Directors, but as a man of vision and dreams coupled with his willingness to face the consequences on his own without putting other Board of Directors into risk, Sir Jojo established Southmin Viajero MotorSales Incorporated in December 1, 2000 under his sole proprietorship.

Guided by the marketing principles of the five (5) P’s meaning People, Place, Price, Product and Promotion, Sir Jojo selected the company’s owned lot at Casa Subdivision, Gensan Drive, Koronadal City as the place due to its strategic location.

As the business flourished, the need to expand is inevitable. Two branches were opened within the period of 5 years since its birth. All were located in the heart of the cities of Digos and General Santos. The name Southmin Viajero Motorsales, Incorporated was changed to Viajero Motorsales Incorporated in October 5, 2005 to disregard Southmin Viajero MotorSales, Incorporated as the board sees.
