Creating a simple tour from tracks and photos



1. Upload your geo-referenced photos to Picasa web albums




2. Double click on the album that you wish to display in Google Earth


3. Click on the “view in Google Earth “ icon




4. Select the KML  code , right click and select “copy”




5. Open your Google Earth client. Right click on “my places” and click “paste”. This will bring your photo-layer into Google Earth





   You’ll need Google 5.2 to play a track


1. Open your Google Earth Client. Select File and click “open”.



2. Select “GPS” under “File of type” and select the gpx or gdb file that you’d like to see on Google Earth.




3. This will bring up a “GPS Data Import” screen. Click “OK”



4. This will bring up a “GPS Data Import” screen. Click “OK”




5. Right click on your track and select “properties” to change the appearance of your track your track icon. Click here for more on how to do that.
