Manotick Public School is a JK to 5 school that encourages a community feeling. We pride ourselves in promoting a positive, safe, and challenging learning environment where a sense of belonging, ownership and of caring for one another prevails, fostering academic excellence, growth of self-esteem and wise decision-making.

Our instructional day is from 8:15 am to 2:45 pm.  Students are supervised on the yard beginning at 8:00 am.

Creating this environment requires the cooperation, full attention, and best efforts of students, teachers, and parents working together. Students at Manotick wish to be treated fairly. In return they are expected to behave towards others in the same way.

  • Labour Relations Update - June 17 This is the most current labour relations update from the OCDSB.  Please visit http://www.ocdsb.ca/med/Labour_Relations/elementary/Pages/default.aspx for any further updates.June 16, 2015UPDATE: Last week, the OCDSB announced that the District would be issuing report cards for students in grades 8 to 12. Students in JK to grade 7 will receive a Letter of Promotion.  At that time, we also indicated that marks were still being submitted to principals by our elementary teachers and that we would be reviewing those submissions to assess how that information might be shared with parents.  We are currently in the process of doing that review and are developing a district-wide process that will be ...

  • KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION 2015 Kindergarten Registration is ongoing right now! If your child will be age four or five by December 31, 2015, they are eligible to register for junior or senior kindergarten starting September 2015. Our first Kindergarten Information Night will take place at the school on January 22nd at 6 p.m. A second information night will take place in May. Registration week will be January 26th to January 30th, 2015 from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  At Manotick P.S., we offer full-day learning for four and five-year-old kindergarten students.
