1 (10 oz.) can pizza dough (I used Pillsbury)
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 C. Parmesan cheese
How You Do It
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Unroll dough from tube onto a cutting board. Cut into 8 even strips (I only got 6 strips out of my dough and then I cut those in half making 12 breadsticks). Place each strip on a lightly greased baking sheet or parchment paper. Bake 6-8 minutes until lightly brown. While the dough is baking, melt the butter and stir in the garlic salt. Remove the breadstick from the oven and brush on the garlic butter mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
1 (6-oz.) can tomato paste*
3 oz. water (that's half of the empty tomato paste can)
3 Tbsp. garlic bread seasoning**
1 Tbsp. sugar or honey
3/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)
Empty tomato paste into a bowl and add water a few tablespoons at a time, stirring constantly until combined. Add remaining ingredients, stir to combine, and allow to stand until ready to use.
*Note: Sometimes when I'm lazy I use Italian tomato paste and skip the other ingredients, except the 3 Tbsp. garlic bread seasoning. Don't leave that out!
**Garlic Bread Seasoning
1/2 C. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp. Kosher salt (coarse)
2 Tbsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. dried oregano
2 tsp. dried basil
2 tsp. dried marjoram
2 tsp. dried parsley
Mix all together and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
