Healthy Eating Tips-
Fast food is quick, convenient and can be costly not just to the wallet, but also to your health. Some of that extra weight gain is due to fast food.
Some eating tips for people on the go:
Tip No. 1: Try a salad
roasted BLT salad because of all the vegetables. The low-calorie dressing is the key.
Tip No. 2: Go grilled When ordering a chicken sandwich, go for grilled instead of crispy. You'll save up to 300 calories and an average of 20 grams of fat. However, make sure you say no to mayonnaise.
By holding the mayonnaise, one can reduce 150 to 200 calories.
Tip No. 3: Skip the soda and shakes
Sodas have about 200 to 300 calories. Milkshakes range from 400 to 1100 calories. That means some shakes have more calories than a whole two piece KFC chicken meal.
Tip No. 4: Satisfy your hunger
A small taco or burger may be low-calorie, but it probably won't fill you to the next meal. Vegetables and whole grains are more filling. "If you are getting a nice big serving of food, it is going to help you feel better, feel more full, take you through the afternoon, so that you are not hitting the vending machine in the afternoon,"
Tip No. 5: Not all chicken items are better than beef.
Taco Bell's ranchero chicken soft taco has 100 more calories than a crunchy beef taco.
So don't just make assumptions about calorie counts. Know what you are ordering before you eat.
