I am a Doctoral Fellow at the University of Central Florida majoring in Computer Science. My research interest broadly lies in the area of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Online Privacy & Security.

I find this field of Computer Science intriguing because the research problems are quite relevant to our daily-life problem scenarios. I want to focus on exploring the Online Safety of adolescents and older adults since they are currently the two fastest-growing demographics that are vulnerable to digital privacy and security threats. While older adults find web usage as a useful tool for closing the digital divide, the teens use smartphones as part of their daily lives. The former group often has little or no awareness of digital privacy and the adolescents' group often makes privacy trade-offs for maintaining their autonomy. I want to understand how social network of them can be leveraged to address the digital privacy and security concerns.
