Knowing without going

Tourism is the ultimate spatial study with the ever increasing movement of humans around the world having significant cultural and environmental impact in every corner of the world. Through the geographical study of Tourism it is hoped awareness is created of the potential damage tourists and tourism can cause to a locale and provide the opportunity to ensure that the activity of Tourism is both economically and culturally sustainable whilst providing a minimalist environmental footprint.  We hope this new resource for the teaching of the geographical aspects of tourism enhances the role of spatial and geographical education whilst studying the topic of Tourism.
