Surgical Patient Financial Assistance Fund - "Life Saving Surgery Fund"
Malamulo Mission Hospital is set in a rural location treating patients in the Thyolo District as well as assisting patients from throughout Malawi and Mozambique.  Although the charges are low as compared to most hospitals, the bills are often too large for patients and their families to pay.  This fund is a relief fund to assist the most financially needy patients to help them afford surgical care at Malamulo Hospital.  Patients who have emergent surgeries will receive preference when deciding who to sponsor and the money will only go to those who are truly financially unable to pay their hospital bills. Each $75 donation will pay for an individual patient to have a Life Saving Surgery.  Consider setting up an automatic monthly payment via Paypal to allow for consistency in our services.

Surgery Residents' Housing
We need to build 6 homes for the surgery residents at Malamulo Hospital.  Each home costs $45,000.

Malamulo Annex Refurbishment
Consider sponsoring a room in the Annex.  We're going to remodel the entire private ward "Annex" to make it presentable, comfortable, and similar to the private hospitals in Malawi.  The Annex is the cost center that allows us to care for those who can afford private care, thus allowing us to care for those who do not have the money to pay for care.  It will cost a total of $100.000.  Sponsorship of a room will be $10,000.

The key to development in Malawi is educating the next generation.  The opportunities to attain a higher education in secondary school, nursing school, or medical training is often dependent on finances.  No school loans are available and most Malawians do not have the money to achieve higher education. We have several requests a week for school funds.
MMM now has a project that will be used to fund the education of needy Malawian individuals. Your donations will only be used to pay for the tuition fees. We will pay directly to the school to prevent fraud. An application process is in place and a bonding contract will be signed by the recipients.
