Surgical Patient Financial Assistance Fund - "Life Saving Surgery Fund" Malamulo Mission Hospital is set in a rural location treating patients in the Thyolo District as well as assisting patients from throughout Malawi and Mozambique. Although the charges are low as compared to most hospitals, the bills are often too large for patients and their families to pay. This fund is a relief fund to assist the most financially needy patients to help them afford surgical care at Malamulo Hospital. Patients who have emergent surgeries will receive preference when deciding who to sponsor and the money will only go to those who are truly financially unable to pay their hospital bills.
