2025 - Required Maine CHRC Info
The State of Maine requires all sports officials to have a clear Criminal History Records Check (CHRC). You may not officiate high school or middle school games without a clear CHRC.
The process may take 8-10 weeks from fingerprints to receipt of clearance.
You may officiate as long as you show proof that you have begun the process.
NOTE: If you are a school employee or already have a clear CHRC from officiating another sport, you are all set. All you need to do is send the MWLOA Secretary a screenshot of your clear CHRC.
