Maine South Boy's Track

Palma non sine pulvere....  No reward without effort

Overview... Saxon Invite April 12th

Unfortunately, a long drawn out meet due to weather problems. "Thor guard" precautions pushed the meet almost 2 hours late. Overall, not one of our stronger meets, but two outstanding performances on the Varsity level.

Jack Carpenter won the 3200 meter in a very strategic race (windy conditions) that included a number of the top distance runners in the State.
John Hader won the 200 meter over a similarly talented field in an excellent 22.49 FAT into a tough headwind.

Full results are posted.

Next meet is the District 207 meet hosted by Maine West on Wednesday, April 16th.
Buses leave immediately after school.

The season's schedule is available on the Maine South athletics site or on the "practice calendar" link
