Maine South Boy's Track

Palma non sine pulvere....  No reward without effort

2016 Track and Field Season

Last Week....
  Challenging week with weather!!
The Frosh and Soph teams were at New Trier Tuesday night in one of the coldest meets I have been involved with.
All the boys competed hard and the Frosh, led by Brian Brown's 2-1st and 2- 2nd place finishes were a close second behind New Trier. Full results are posted.

Friday the Hawks competed at the 12 team Mustang Invitational hosted by Rolling Meadows HS. Dry but cold again; not a great night for huge PR's. But the boys competed hard, and we were particularly pleased with the Freshmen. The sophomore level finished 5th overall and was largely made up of freshmen.
The Varsity finished 9th and were led by Ralph Patejunas 2nd in the 3200 and Liam Pittges 4th in the 300 Intermediate Hurdles.
   Full results are posted.

This week.....
Open meet, all levels, at Glenbrook South on Tuesday.

Conant Cougar Invitational at Conant HS Friday. This meet follows an A-B-C format plus relays. Each school enters their top athlete in A, 2nd in B, 3rd in C, regardless of level.
Field events will start at 5pm, track events at 5:30.

Bus will leave from school at 3:45
