The Maine Buddhist Gathering was inspired by a desire to bring together many different sanghas, meditation groups, individuals and Buddhist traditions to share resources, build community, and support practice. Throughout the year, we host movie nights, community meditations and potlucks, sponsor talks, and publish a monthly newsletter. We maintain a listing of sanghas and meditation centers throughout the state, and serve as a resource for individuals who have established practices, are new to practice, or want to learn about meditation.
We welcome your comments and suggestions.
