Effective with the 2010 Soccer Season, any referees, 18 years of age and older, officiating Youth Games for the Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA), and all Assessors, Assignors, and Instructors in Illinois must fill out a Background Check every other year. If you had a Background Check in 2010 through IYSA, you will not need another one until 2012. If you've had a background check through another organization, you must still have one through IYSA. To complete your background check, click on the link at the left.
The Mahomet Recreation training will be held in Augst 2011 at Barber Park in Mahomet. This is a great way for new referees to get experience and highly encouraged. Details for the training will be posted later this summer. If you are interested in becoming a referee for Mahomet Recreation, fill out the application on the left side of this page and/or contat the assignor, Lori Brown (contact info below). Returning referees must complete a new application each year.
Games start on August 20th and run through early October. Schedules will be posted on this website at the left or visit www.MahometRecreation.com.
