Peek-A-Boo Time (Birth to 24 Months)
Tuesdays, 9:30 AM
A story time for our youngest patrons and their caregivers. Featuring participatory songs, lap bounces, and action rhymes for children up to 24 months old; older siblings and friends are welcome to attend as well.
Toddler Storytime (24 months - 3.5 years)
Wednesdays, 9:30 AM
A storytime for toddlers, aged approximately 2 to 3.5 years old, and their caregivers. Featuring songs, books, and action rhymes selected for children who are learning to sit still for brief periods. Younger and older family members are also welcome.
Preschool Storytime (3.5 years and up)
Tuesday OR Wednesday, 10:00 AM
Winter and Spring 2015 Special Programs

Enjoy some Spring Break fun at the library! You bring a lunch and the beach towel; we’ll provide beverages and a dessert! After lunch is done, we’ll play Bingo for prizes. Please register.

TEEN Improv Acting Workshop
Time: 1:00 to 2:00 PM
Ages: 12-19, 7th-12th grade
Description: For Teens Only! You are invited to join professional performer Bridget Miller and explore their improvisational skills with an April Fools theme. The sky is the limit, and anything can and will happen. No experience required--but you do need to register!
About the presenter: Bridget Miller is a Mahomet resident, and was the voice actor for two characters on the nationally-known TV show Veggie Tales. She has taught improv classes for children, performed with the Rantoul Theater Group and the Parkland College Theater, and co-directed two plays for the Mahomet Junior High.

NOTE: Registration is limited to 10. Attendance at each workshop meeting is requested, but not required.
Are you hungry for adventure and new discoveries? Unleash your creative writing power!
Beginning and experienced writers are all welcome to explore the craft of creative writing and discover their own voices as they respond to stimulating and challenging writing prompts under the direction of an experienced group facilitator.
Some writers discover that they are poets; others are novelists, lovers of journaling, playwrights, or even reporters (be it news, sports, or science). All learn that creative writing is fun, artistic, and rewarding!
