I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computing and Information Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). I am working at Secure and Trustworthy Computing Lab (SECRETLab) under the supervision of Dr. Ragib Hasan. My research areas include security and privacy of Internet of Things, Trustworthy Fog and Mobile computing, secure provenance, and distributed embedded systems.
Before joining UAB in Fall 2014, I had been working in software industry for five years and developed a media sharing framework for DLNA based applications, including device drivers for Linux and Real-time operating systems. I served Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh (SRBD) as a Lead Software Engineer at the Department of Solution Lab for the period June 2010 to August 2014. I graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in October 2009.
