Hi, I'm Mahjuja and I am a PhD candidate at Clemson University. I am from Bangladesh and my research interests are in the fields of labor economics, family  economics, gender economics, education economics, and development economics. My motivation as a researcher comes from observing how economics affects the choices that people make, how these choices affect their lives, and the options that economics can give people if we can find an effective way to create them.

I will be available for interviews at the ASSA Annual Meeting in January and the SEA Annual Meeting in November.
