La Vía del Diamante JīINGANG 金剛

金剛

Above you will see an uncut diamond. It here represents the Practices of Vajrayana. We show the uncut diamond, because that is the true state of Vajrayana, Everyone likes to see the diamond polished and beautiful in a social sense, but here we give you the uncut diamond which should never be cut to form a socially desirable object.

Vajrayana, as it is presented in the west and as it has developed from the days when Milarepa and other great masters lived has become social opium. Compassion is spoken of and spread around as if it were whole grained rice cast upon fertile ground.

But what is presented is white rice, that has gone through the bleaching process and it is spred upon rocks and on sandy beaches where it can never grow.

I do not profess to be a great master of Vajrayana and the higher teachings, but I do have a vision which grew in China many years ago of Vajrayana as something precious and worthy of attention and reverence.

It is not mysterious, for it follows in the same direction as Chan and Dao. The path is the same but the illusions created for those that follow the path are different and in accord with the temperament of those who step foot upon the long and sometimes arduous journey.

It is easy for most to be deceived by the rites and ceremonies and it must be understood that one must not cling in any way or form no matter how lightly to either the practices and their beauty nor to the masters who teach, no matter how noble they may seem.
