I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Logistics at Wroclaw University of Economics and Business in Poland. From 2012 till 2018 I was an Assistant Professor at the same institution.
I held a Visiting Assistant Professor Position at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Spain from 2009 to 2012.
Since 2009, I have held a PhD (European Doctorate) in Economic Sciences (Management) from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Spain, and in 2018 I earned a habilitation degree in Economic Sciences (Economics) from Wrocław University of Economics and Business. I also hold an M.Phil. from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Spain (2006) and an MSc in Management and Marketing from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in Poland (2003).
I have been a Visiting Researcher at Wageningen University in the Netherlands, Universidad Miguel Hernandez in Spain, University of Florida in the USA, and Linnaeus University in Sweden.
My main research interests focus on efficiency and productivity measurement of decision making units, economics of agribusiness firms, and corporate social responsibility. Many of my articles have been published in leading journals such as European Journal of Operational Research, OMEGA - The International Journal of Management Science, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Productivity Analysis, Journal of Optimization Theory and Applications, American Journal of Agricultural Economics and Journal of Agricultural Economics. Additionally, I have been a principal investigator of three projects funded by the National Science Centre in Poland, a member of the management committee for a Cost Action, and an investigator in several projects financed by Spanish grant-awarding institutions. I am also an Associate Editor of the Journal of Productivity Analysis.
