Winter, 2015

If you haven't already done so, now is the time to cut back those grasses and remains of last year's perennials.  Signs of spring will be starting to pop up.  It's also time to think about what plants need to be divided or moved.  Spring is the best time to divide most plants .... if you have too many, pass them on to the Marshall Library plant sale on May 23rd.

Thinking about starting your own vegetable plants this year.  Lights
and a heat mat work wonderfully to get a jump and larger plants to put out when the time is right.  Questions on seed starting?  send us an email at Madison.county.gardens@gmail.com.
