Cathy wrote: My Husband Gene Flakes ment the world to me. He was divoted to me. He was kind, loving, handsome and strong. We had a beautiful marriage for over 20 years. He told me I was beautiful every day and I never left the house without a kiss(or two). We had a strong foundation in the knowledge of GOD and the belief of His son Jesus Christ. Gene devoted his later years to writing and recording music, mostly Praise & Worship. He taught me patience and how to enjoy the quiet moments in life. I will miss him forever.

As we spent each day together we have seen over and over again the blessings of GOD. He never missed a chance to say "I Love YOu" and a complement.
