Elf & Santa Challenge

Santa & The Elf - 2012
Update (12/12/2013):
A $500 donation has been received.  Still awaiting the second $500 donation!

Press Release:  November 22, 2013  Hooksett, NH

Hooksett School Board Clerk John Lyscars and Santa (identity to be revealed if the challenge is met) are chipping in to support the Hooksett Salvation Army Kettle campaign with the following fund raising challenge.

By December 21, 2013, if a group or individual makes a $500 (or more) donation to the Kettle Campaign Challenge

John Lyscars pledges to take the Elf Costume out of storage, made famous by the visit to Mayor Gatsas and the Manchester Board of School Committee December 2012, and don said costume (much to the chagrin and under protest by Mr. Lyscars' wife Debbie Lyscars) while ringing the bells for the Hooksett Salvation Army Kettle campaign.

For an additional $500 or more donation, the original Santa will also participate and his true identity would be revealed that night (for those who don't believe in Santa that is.....)

If both challenges are met, for a total of $1,000 donation, Santa and the Elf have agreed to allow a controlled "snow ball throw" challenge to all interested parties.  The night of the bell ringing (date and time to be determined) Santa or the Elf (snowball thrower's choice) will line up at a safe (but still painful) distance from the snowball thrower, and allow to become a human....er, um,  Elf or Santa target!  Their only defense will be a metal garbage can lid (decorated with a wreath for Christmas).
