Calling all overseas collectors of Japanese music!
Did you ever wish there were a way to quickly and easily get used and rare Japanese CDs, DVDs, magazines and other items directly from a trusted seller in Tokyo? I am here to help you.
Buying Japanese CDs from outside of Japan can be a bitch, especially if the CDs you’re looking for are out of print. However, here in Tokyo, with a little poking around, it’s often quite easy to find reasonably-priced used items, even ones that are long out of print. Therefore, I have decided to offer my services as a proxy shopper for overseas fans looking for Japanese music from a direct source. If you are looking for something specific, send me an email with your request, and I will see if I can find it for you. Of course, some things are more expensive and/or difficult to find than others, but I will do my best.
Things I can help you find:
Click here for details on each type of item.
In addition, if you’re an overseas BT fan and you’re interested in buying a fanclub-only live DVD but don’t think it’s worth your while to join Fish Tank, send me an email and I might just be able to help you.
Please note: as of September 2013, my admin fee on web shop orders and concert tickets is 20% of the cost of the item. This includes Fish Tank only items.
I will also be posting various finds for sale on The Blog-Tick Phenomenon (label "shopping service"), and I do my best to match or beat the prices offered by other online sellers of Japanese music. I aim to offer a flexible service that takes the specific needs of my customers into account. If you want an item but you don't have the money to pay for it yet, I will be happy to hold it on reserve for you. As a longtime music collector, I vouch for the quality and authenticity of all the items I sell. Any bootlegs or damaged items for sale will be clearly labeled as such.
I offer two shipping options: EMS (tracked and insured, takes about 1 week for delivery) and SAL mail (not tracked or insured, takes about 3 weeks for delivery). Shipping rates vary slightly depending on the weight of the package and intended destination, so to avoid hassle and confusion, I charge a flat shipping fee of 1800 yen (EMS) or 800 yen (SAL) for single orders of CDs and standard-case DVDs. Multiple items may cost more. Larger, heavier items such as books also cost more. In general, EMS costs an extra 1000 yen per package (more for heavier packages.)
If you are interested in buying something, just send me an email to themadaristocrat [at] gmail [dot] com. I only accept PayPal.

R&R Newsmaker 13kai Special
This softcover, 57-page magazine-style book published by Newsmaker covers the production process for the 13th Floor With Moonshine tour, from the concept art to the stage design to the costuming to the actual performance. This book will be of particular interest to fans who want to know more about the band's behind-the-scenes creative process. 13th Floor was the only tour for which Buck-Tick published such a book, making this book one-of-a-kind. Once upon a time it was easy to come by, but these days it's very rare. The copy I have on offer is in perfect condition. More images here.
