Requests
Please feel free at any time to email us (themadaristocrat at gmail) and request translations (or other things, within the limits of propriety and decency.) We can’t guarantee that we will be able to fill all requests, but we do take fan requests seriously, so don’t be shy… just bear in mind that individual songs or short articles are easier for us to deal with than long articles or full albums. We generally give priority to artists that NGS already covers over new artists, but don’t be shy about suggesting something if you think there’s an artist we should add. We don’t usually do translations of videos, but could be persuaded depending on the content of the video.
If you are very serious about your request, we encourage you to make us a coffee donation to sweeten the deal, as we're very busy these days and a donation will do a lot to move your request up our priority queue.
When requesting articles, please send high-definition scans, or a URL if the article is online. When requesting songs, please send a high-definition scan of the original CD booklet, as well as the MP3 file or a link to the song on YouTube. This is in the name of thoroughness and accuracy—typed versions of kanji lyrics available on the internet tend to contain errors, and sometimes the lyrics in the lyric booklet are different from the lyrics on the actual recording. If you’re missing this information but you still want to request the song anyway, once again, email me and we’ll talk.
