    PHILOSOPHY

Learner Centered Classroom and Active Learning - Students are responsible for their own learning and will become active participants in class with games, projects and discussions rather than passive listening during lecture.

Connectivism - Knowledge is distributed by social connections.

Science Inquiry - Students develop experimental design skills and learn science content through the same methods that scientists use.

    Social Constructivism
     - Students construct knowledge by sharing and discussing with others. Knowledge is based upon their prior beliefs and experiences.

Love and Logic - Students respond to choices, empathy and logical consequences. Ask about the trash game and the chair game!

Instructional Technology - New technologies motivate and empower students to interact with content.
