Lyme Lite Fashion Show 2010

Lyme Lite Fashion Show, held on May 8, 2010, was a fundraiser created to shine the light of awareness on youth who face the challenges of living with Lyme Disease!

This event during National Lyme Disease Awareness month was initiated by 16 yr old Meghan Harrison, with chronic Lyme disease, a former model with the John Robert Powers Agency.  Special thanks go to Dawn Timmeney of NBC 10 who served as emcee and to State Representative Matt Bradford who shared Lyme disease statistics and the need for prevention in Pennsylvania.  Fashions provided by Banana Republic and Coldwater Creek were showcased by models from the John Robert Powers Agency.  Youth fashions from Old Navy, Salvation Army, and The Tennis Shop in Collegeville were modeled by Montgomery County youth affected by Lyme disease; their hair was styled by Impressions Hair Salon in Berwyn.    See link to Meghan's article published last year . . . http://www.springside.org/files/Harrison%20on%20Lyme%20Gazette.pdf
