VOTE411.ORG is a one-stop shop for election related information. It provides nonpartisan general and state-specific information aspects of the election process.  VOTE411 is a project of the League of Women Voters Education Fund. In Kerr County, the Elections Bureau is located in the County Courthouse, corner of Jefferson St. and Sidney Baker Rd in Kerrville.

To vote in Texas, you must be registered. Simply pick up a voter registration application, fill it out, and mail it at least 30 days before the election date. You can get your application at the County Courthouse. The League of Women Voters also conducts voter registration drives throughout the year. You are eligible to vote if:
  • You are a United States citizen
  • You are legally registered to vote in Texas
  • You are at least 18 years old on Election Day
  • You are not a convicted felon (you may be eligible to vote if you have completed your sentence, probation, and parole)
  • You have not been declared by a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be either totally mentally incapacitated or partially mentally incapacitated with the right to vote
