Military Chaplaincy

For those interested in discerning a call to minster in the military Luther.House offers a unique program for you:

Students have the opportunity (not required) to apply to be a part of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) or enlist in the National Guard while a student at Luther.House. This way one can earn a full-tuition scholarship from ROTC or receive full tuition benefits from the National Guard and live at Luther.House for free.

ELCA students, once they begin seminary, they will eligible to apply for tuition assistance from both the "ELCA Fund for Leaders - Federal Chaplaincy Scholarship" and from their respective military branch of service, all while serving as a commissioned officer in a reserve component as a Chaplain Candidate.
