I am interested in the philosophy of biology and philosophy of mind, especially as they relate to neuroscience. I'm currently an assistant professor at Stanford. I received my PhD from NYU in 2018, supervised by Ned Block. I did a post-doc with Daniel Dennett at the Tufts Center for Cognitive Studies, followed by an NSF fellowship with Sean Kelly at Harvard. I received my PhD in systems neuroscience from MIT, for work on astrocytic interactions with brain vasculature. Before that, I was an undergrad at the University of Chicago.
