Bowes Museum

Founded by John and Josephine Bowes in the 19th century, it has undergone a £12m transformation, with a new suite of picture galleries, a stunning Fashion and Textile Gallery and a refurbished, famous 'Silver Swan'. By coach. 

Exploring Suffolk: its History and Art

Five days in which to discover some of the historic houses, gardens, museums and scenic villages of this often overlooked county - the hoyme of Gainsborough and Constable. By coach.

Harewood House

A full day spent at the family seat of the Earl and Countess of Harewood.  One of the treasure houses of England, set in Yorkshire's most beautifly landscape. By coach.

The Art and Castles of Prague

Staying in the 4* hotel near the old town, we explored the famous sites of this historic city.  We are hoping to arrange an optional evening concert and a boat excursion on the River Vltava.


Port Sunlight

A walking or coach tour of the village led by Richard Norman BA. As well as visiting the Museum with exhibitions of Lever’s vision, soap-making and village life, we explored the Lady Lever Art Gallery's current art exhibition and important collections of furniture, sculpture, paintings and tapestries from the 17th to the 20th century and visited other buildings in the village.

Castles, Gardens and Houses of Kent

Staying in a 4* hotel in Chatham we visited Canterbury, Sissinghurst  Castle and Garden,  Ightham Mote, Chartwell, Red House, Knole House and Deer Park with the  Ashmolean Museum and Coventry Cathedral en route.  By coach.

Newby Hall and Gardens

We explored Newby Hall, one of England’s renowned Adam Houses with a magnificent collection of ancient Roman sculpture, Gobelins  tapestries and Chippendale furniture and its 25 acres of award-winning gardens.  By coach.


Staying in the 4*Amethyst Hotel  we visited many places of interest including the Blue Mosque and Church of St Sophia, Church of St Saviour in Chora, spice Bazaar, Topkapi Palace and cruised on the Bosphorus.
