Lifelong learner, passionate for integrating knowledge and professionals from different fields to solve problems with real impact in society, connecting technical analysis and modeling with the needs of people and institutions.

Currently I am a researcher and data analyst at the International Institute for Sustainability (IIS). My initial training was in physics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and I did my PhD studying cosmological numerical simulations at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Afterwards I developed my postdoctoral research studying problems related to socioeconomic and biological systems, combining techniques from different fields, such as data science, complex systems, artificial intelligence, game theory, collective behaviour, physics, and evolutionary dynamics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies (ISTC-CNR), and KU Leuven.
