What we do:   Current Projects 
 We raise awareness of environmental issues on Lehigh's campus, encourage administration and students to participate in eco-friendly programs, and promote sustainability on campus and within the community.

We also attend national and state-wide conferences to learn more about the environment, lobby US Senators, protest America's less environmentally friendly activities, and learn how to make our own campus more green.

We are asking Lehigh University to:

  1. Free all new fossil fuel investments
  2. Completely divest from all fossil fuel companies in 5 years
  3. Increase investment in renewable energy companies

Our focuses for the 2014-2015 Academic Year include:
  • Promoting the adoption of REduce, REuse, Recycle habits for a smaller carbon footprint
  • Asking the question: 
"How can Lehigh be environmentally sustainable in her #Next150 years"
  • Undetermined project; current ideas include
-EWFM Library Stack lighting upgrade and motion sensors
-Solar powered electric car charging stations
-Vertical wind turbine for campus
-Solar & Wind powered outdoor lighting
