About the SmarakManyavar Shri Kanshi Ram Smarak Sthal in Lucknow city is a grand memorial constructed in the memory of dalit leader Shri Kanshi Ram. Built by the then Chief Minister of UP,  Manyawar Kanshi Ram 
Smarak- a symbol for Dalit empowerment,  is constructed on Jail Road near Bungla Bazar area of Lucknow.  
 
Built on 86 acres of land, Manyawar Shri Kanshiram Ji Smarak Sthal in Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) India, is an example of excellent architecture and latest techniques.

Foundation of the building was laid on 9th October 2007 and lokarpan was done on 25 June 2009 by the then Chief Minister of UP. 

The main building is made on an area of about 2.5 acre (10,500 sq.m.) and the Dome of the building at 177 feet, is said to be one of the biggest domes of the world.
  

Foundation of the building is about 12 meter deep.  Total area of the  Smarak Sthal is 3,47,956 sq.m.).

It  is  a beautiful grand Memorial constructed on VIP road in
  Lucknow. Bronze Statues,  murals, attractive  galleries,large elephant statues, excellent looking  fountains, inscriptions, extensive green gardens, and a 52 feet high bronze fountains are the major attraction here.

The Smarak is now open for public and  people from all walks of life in the Lucknow city are visiting the Smarak in addition to a  number of tourists from all over the country.
