"I don't know who had more fun, the audience or the cast!  After 2 months of rehearsals I was still laughing at lines in it!  You truly captured the essence of teens.  Despite the usual trials and tribulations of a production, this was so much fun to do.  The memories will last a lifetime!"

"I can't tell you how many parents were grateful that the content of your show was so age-appropriate. Many of them also expressed their appreciation that this property is relevant, contemporary and has something for everyone. It was so well received by the students and parents alike!"

"This show is full of laughs, poignant moments and interesting group numbers. As producer, I was pleased that my ensemble kids had so much stage time - at least 80% of the scenes used the entire ensemble. The actors enjoyed this show immensely and never wanted it to end. And I was actually told by many of our veteran patrons that they "Could watch this show over and over again!" That is a rare compliment for community youth theater."

Synopsis:  On the last day of high school, summer expectations run high. Luann's big dream is to hook up with Aaron Hill - but she'll have to compete with Tiffany, the hot cheerleader. Meanwhile, Luann's doofus brother Brad, tries desperately to score with beautiful Toni. A series of scenes explore the joys and agonies of teenhood with songs such as "Why Do We Need To Know About Michelangelo?" "Ode To The Mall" "You're A Moron" "Confusion" and "Do You Hate Me Cuz I'm Beautiful?"

"... Scenes In a Teen's Life concluded with a standing ovation from the 200+ audience. Good reason: 26 musical numbers filled with attitude, humor and thoughtfulness, simple harmony that sounds rich, no down time, no dull spots - just start-to-finish entertainment. The cast thoroughly enjoyed each and every rehearsal and said many times that this was the best show they had ever been in. It is truly an enjoyable show to direct and perform!"
