The Goodenough Club, London
The LSCITS initiative will hold the 2011 postgraduate workshop at The Goodenough Club, London as part of the 2011 LSCITS All Hands meeting.

The aim of this workshop is to bring together postgraduate researchers (EngD/PhD) from the UK's Doctoral Training Centres (DTCs) to discuss research and advancements in the science and engineering of Large-Scale Complex IT Systems. This includes, but is not restricted to; analysis, modelling, development, engineering, simulation, testing, evaluation or maintenance of Large Complex IT Systems.

Areas of interest include;
  • complexity in organisations,
  • socio-technical systems engineering,
  • high-integrity systems engineering,
  • predictable software systems,
  • novel computational methods, and
  • mathematical foundations of complexity.

Our invited speaker will be Dr Simon Smith, Chief Technology Officer for MooD International.

Direct participation in the LSCITS Postgraduate Workshop can be through a talk, a poster presentation of related work and/or the reviewing of submissions.
