Trying to play with technology and getting frustrated? A tech savvy librarian will provide instruction in the use of a wide range of technology services. Drop-in weekly appointments, 20 minute slots available. To best support learning, please bring the following items: devices (i.e., laptops, tablets, and/or smartphones), necessary passwords (Google Play, App Store), and library card! First-come, First-served. FREE!

Lego: Not-So-Simple Machines II

Create Lego simple machines using gears, levers & pulleys, then motorize them.

The Santa Cruz Public Libraries and the Friends of the La Selva Beach Library are offering FREE homework help.  Assistance to school age children is provided by a California credentialed teacher.

Book Sale

SUMMER  BOOK SALE - AUGUST 4TH!
BOOKS AND BREWS
Every summer and fall the Friends of the Library have a used book sale which helps provide funds for activities that the Friends offer at the La Selva Beach Library.  We do this in conjunction with the Art and Craft Faire. 

MEANWHILE:
We  collect gently used books, audio and music CDs,  and movies on DVD and blu-ray in the La Selva Beach Library.  Donations may be made any time the Library is open.  If you would like to have your donations picked up, please contact Cindy Jackson at cinjack6860@gmail.com or 662-2374.
