How do I know what to put in an ePortfolio?
This question gets at the TYPE of content to include. What's great about an ePortfolio is that you don't have to limit yourself to text.
Check out the content ideas in the left toolbar to get some ideas of what you can include and tutorials on how to include it!
Look for the light bulb on each of the content idea pages for ideas and examples!
What is an ePortfolio?
To oversimplify it, an ePortfolio is a digital collection of work that showcases your skills, abilities, values, experiences, and competencies.
It's the PROOF that you learned or did something. You don't just take a class and get a grade for showing up. You have to prove you learned something, right? Perhaps through a paper or presentation. An ePortfolio is a centralized place where you can show ALL of your proof to employers, professors, grad schools, family and friends!
What's the difference between a DRF and web folio? How do I know which one to use?
There are two different types of ePortfolios we use at Loyola: A DRF and a web folio, both hosted by Taskstream.
