Homemade Bread

6 Cups Flour
1 Tbsp Dough Enhancer
2 Tbsp Vital Wheat Gluten
1 Tbsp Yeast
2 1/4 Cups Milk
2 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Butter
1 1/2 tsp. Salt

In a mixing bowl, combine 3 Cups of the flour, dough enhancer, vital wheat gluten, and yeast. Mix well.

Meanwhile, add the milk, sugar, butter and salt in a saucepan. Heat until the milk is scalded (about 120 degrees). Let sit until all the butter is melted.

Mix the milk mixture with the flour mixture with a dough hook for 3 minutes. Add the remaining 3 cups of flour and mix (knead) for another 5 minutes.

Let dough rise for about 1 hour or until double in size. Divide dough in half. Roll out into a rectangle and roll up. Place in bread pans and allow to rise until the dough is over the edge of the bread pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Enjoy!

BREAD MACHINE INSTRUCTIONS:

If you are using a bread machine, first put all of the flour, the dough enhancer, vital wheat gluten and yeast in the bread machine. Meanwhile, scald the milk, sugar, butter and salt in a saucepan exactly like the regular instructions. Add the milk mixture to the flour mixture. Set the bread machine on the dough cycle and let it run. When it's finished, divide the dough in half, roll it out into rectangles and roll it up. Place the bread in the bread pans and allow to rise until the dough is over the edge of the bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
