Cast on 40 stitches SKIRT Row 1 - k2, p36, k2 (wrong side) Row 2 - knit across Row 3 - k2, p36, k2 Row 4 - k2, *(k2tog) twice; (YO, k1) 4 times; (k2tog) twice;repeat from * until end; k2 Row 5 - knit Row 6 - 25; Repeat Rows 2 through 5 five more times Row 26 - k1, (k2tog) 19 times; k1 - (21 stitches) Row 27 - k1, (p2tog) 4 times; p3; (p2tog) 4 times; k1 - (13 stitches) Row 28 - k1, (k2tog, k1) 4 times - (9 stitches) Row 29 - k1, p7, k1 Row 30 - knit Row 31 - k1, p7, k1 Row 32 - bind off in knit HEAD Cast on 5 stitches; leave a long end to sew head together. Row 1 - k5 Row 2 - k1, yo, repeat, end k1 - (9 stitches) Row 3 - knit Row 4 - k1, yo, repeat, end k1 - (17 stitches) Row 5 - knit Row 6 - k1, yo, repeat, end k1 - (33 stitches) Bind off in knit, use long end to sew head together in a circle. WINGS pick up 3 stitches from along side of upper body Row 1 - knit Row 2 - purl Row 3 - k1, yo, repeat to end Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until you have 33 stitches (note: last row will end in Knit 1) Bind off in knit. Do the same for the other side. Curve wing around and sew/weave to body. As far as attaching the wings to the body. I pick up the 3 stitches alongside the body, and start the wing. Once the wing is done, and you curve it, you can anchor/attach it in it's place to stay put using a quick stitch or you could even get out a needle and thread and sew it.
