Louis Plissonneau

Short bio:

I am a research engineer at Orange Labs (formerly France Télécom R&D) since 2003. Since 2007, I'm part-time PhD student at Eurecom (for TELECOM ParisTech Doctoral School) under the supervision of Prof. Ernst Biersack

My research interests include Internet performance measurement, evaluation and monitoring. I'm a member of Orange expert pool as specialist of layer 4 of TCP/IP stack. My PhD thesis focuses more precisely on content streaming delivery over fixed (ADSL, FTTH) or mobile (GPRS, UMTS, HSDPA) networks.

I've earned an engineering degree from Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité (Supélec, France) and a MSc in Communication Systems from the School of Computer and Communication Systems, EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne) in 2003.

From August 2002 to March 2003, I've carried out my Master thesis at the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) in India.
