LOUISIANA QUICK CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP

Louisiana Chess Association in conjunction with UNO Four Horsemen Chess Club and the Downriver Chess Club of New Orleans presents the 2022 Louisiana State Quick Chess Championship!

This is an official STATE CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT sanctioned by Louisiana Chess Association. The winner will be crowned the 2022 Louisiana Quick Chess Champion.

Location: Atchafalaya Room 208 on the second floor of the University of New Orleans Student Center

Eligibility: USCF membership required and available on-site. Cash prize available to all entrants. Louisiana title to Louisiana residents only.

Prize: Total prize fund $400, $250 to open section and $150 to U1400. 50% guaranteed, b/40.

Registration: Pre-register for $15 until 6/23, $20 entry fee at door. Pre-register here. All sales final.


QUICK CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP

Registration opens for 12:15PM, first round pairs for 1:00PM sharp

Round times 1:00PM, 1:45PM, 2:30PM, 3:15PM, 4:00PM, 5:30PM, 6:15PM

Break for dinner between round four and five

Two sections: OPEN, 1st prize $250; U1400, 1st prize $150. 50% guaranteed b/40.

Winner of the OPEN section will be crowned 2022 Louisiana Quick Chess Champion by Louisiana Chess Association

Ties will be broken by armageddon style blitz matches. If 3+ players tied Sonneborn-Berger will be used to decide top two.
