Who We Are

All About Us

A group of local residents calling themselves Citizens for a Countywide Transportation Plan (CitizensCTP) have formed to provide alternate solutions to Loudoun County’s Countywide Transportation Plan (CTP).

CitizensCTP has taken issue with the current transportation policy as one that will induce development in the Transition Area, over-lane roads in the Suburban area, and set up a road network that relies on re-zonings to pay for the plan.

More residential development where it does not belong will require more government services with a shrinking County budget.  Additionally, it would six-lane roads in many current residential areas of Ashburn – in many cases straight through neighborhoods that enjoy pedestrian-friendly options to get to schools and town centers.
